A vintage Japanese blazer, French-cut, taken up and reworked by hand. The surface is embroidered and painted slowly, the buttons replaced with reclaimed ones — the old garment kept, and carried somewhere new.
This piece was made at 576 Hudson Street, our first room in the West Village. The room has since closed; the blazer holds its trace. There is one, and there will not be another.
